Gabion gabion raw material standard requirements:

6. The tensile strength of the steel wire should be between 350 and 500Mpa, and the elongation should not be less than 10%;

7. The elongation rate of steel wire before weaving is ≥12%, and after weaving is ≥7%.     

Gabion gabion installation:

1. Before installation, first lay out the line to determine the outer edge of the gabion gabion.

2. Place the assembled gabion gabions tightly and neatly in the proper position, face to face and back to back, so as to facilitate stone filling, cover binding and save steel wire.

3. Twist the edges of the adjacent gabion gabions with long steel wires, and bind them with about 20 cm long steel wires at intervals of 10-15 cm.

6. During the filling construction, the feeding thickness of each layer should be controlled to be about 1/3 of the height of the cage. Generally, it is advisable to divide the feeding into three to four layers for a one-meter-high cage.

7. Considering the settlement of the filling material, the filling stone on the top surface should be appropriately 2-3 cm higher than the gabion cage, and must be dense, and the gap should be filled with appropriate small gravel. To increase the bulk density of the gabion.

8. For the filled stones exposed above the ground, the surface should be placed manually (by means of dry masonry) or mechanically leveled, and the stones should overlap each other stably with the plane facing outward.
